SY COLONA II facts

COLONA II is 57 foot loa, gross tonnage 26 ton.
Builder: Perry Marine, Rochester, Kent . Launched in 1974
Ketch rigged  Main, Mizzen, Roller furling genoa. Chute for light wind.
She is made of 6 mm corten steel and the superstructure is made of 4 mm corten steel.
Central cockpit. Spacious aft deck with ample  space for diving or other activities.
Spacious saloon with AC.
2000 liter fresh water and 1500 fuel capacity.
In 2015 solar panels where installed to charge the 24 v and the 12 v battery banks.

Saloon & accommodation

Accomodation for 8 persons.
2 twin cabins in the front that are sharing one bathroom. AC
1 twin cabin aft of the saloon.
1 double owners cabin in the stern sharing bathroom with the twin cabin.

After 40 years of success in the dive charter industry the current owner has now retired. You now have a rare opportunity to purchase this well-known Vessel.
She  pioneered in the Red Sea in the late seventies where she ran  Sea diving & sailing expeditions for 20 years.
The last 20 years Colona II was a popular charter yacht in Burma and the waters of Thailand.

She is currently in Kudat , Borneo where she can be viewed.

SY Colona has been in dry dock from March 2019 to March 2020 and got in the water last week.

One year dry dock includes 100 % rebuild of the main engine, work on the hull – replacing steel, complete paint job under and above the waterline.
Owners have spent US$ 20 000 in the dry dock.
