Equipment and History:
Cheoy Lee built around 90 of the Luders-designed Clipper 33s, most in the 1970s, ending the run in 1982. Katrina is the last – a specially commissioned one-off built to Lloyds specifications in 1986.

She was extensively refitted by a previous owner in 2000-01, including a new Yanmar 30 hp engine, rebuilt spruce masts and new standing rigging. Under the current ownership, upgrades over the past three years have included:

– Full new set of sails
– Awlgripped hull
– Kiwiprop feathering prop
– Interior rebuilt to improve storage and upgrade galley
– All running rigging and blocks replaced
– New sail covers and aft cockpit cover
– Equipment includes CQR anchor and chain, multiple mooring lines, flares, lifejackets, fire extinguishers, spare parts, Lavac marine toilet, Origo stove, etc.
